The community of Earlville has taken on the formidable project of rehabilitation and maintenance of the 105-year-old Earlville Opera House. The Opera House is the home of the Summer Performance Series which has at least one program each weekend and includes classical, jazz, country, folk, and zydeco music as well as drama. In addition, the Children's Series offers three free programs over the summer, all of which are entertaining live performances with professional entertainers who encourage audience participation. The Opera House Gallery provides local and regional artists with a venue for exhibition and sale of their work.
